My patients struggle as you do, despite being hard-working, very considerate, and a high achiever. Life is hard. 

When they first come in, one of their most important relationships abruptly came to an end. They don’t know how to make sense of it.

They feel like they’ve lost themselves and forgotten who they are. 

They believe they’re unlovable and deserve their current situation.

Their fear of having difficult conversations gets in the way of what they want in so many ways. They feel like they’re letting everyone down.

They worry if they’re selfish, but they’re burned out, exhausted, and unappreciated.

Before they came to see me, they felt not good enough and constantly worried about others. Other people can help others and have time to take care of themselves. They believe saying “no” means they are being mean or selfish, but others can do it so easily and nothing bad happens.
